Policies & Cancellation

Field Trip & Group Visit Terms:

  • Every student and adult (educators and parents) in your group requires admission, and must be counted in your group reservation numbers. This includes any younger siblings who are attending with parent chaperones (infants under 3 months get free admission).
  • Children or adults who have a Nest membership cannot use their member benefits for admission during a school field trip or other group visit.

  • There is a $50 non-refundable fee for cancellations within one week of your reservation. Our Field Trip Coordinator will work with your group to explore rescheduling options, subject to availability. No-shows will be charged the full amount of the $150.00 minimum.

  • Payment for your group reservation must be made at the time of your visit, once attendance numbers have been confirmed. School groups may choose to be invoiced and will be required to submit payment within 30 days of your scheduled visit.

  • Kidzu requires 1 adult per every 5 children.

  • EC students, students who are neurodivergent, or students who have other disabilities may bring one free chaperone (educator or parent) each; chaperones will still be counted when determining maximum capacity. To request an accommodation to visit with fewer chaperones, please contact our Field Trip Coordinator at programs@kidzuchildrensmuseum.org

  • Groups must be chaperoned in The Nest’s Outdoor Learning Garden – The Nest does not provide staff in this area.
