Kidzu’s Birthday Bash

Sunday, March 5th @ 12:30 PM – 5 PM

Happy birthday to Kidzu! We’re hosting a museum-wide birthday party to celebrate Kidzu turning 17 years old! We’ll have special guests and happenings on deck all day, including multilingual storytimes, birthday card-making, and a photo booth. In the Makery, watch as our 3D printer constructs a celebratory creation and make your own spin art! We’ll finish off the day with a bubble dance party at 4pm! Plus, visit a collection of local birthday vendors that will be onsite with their own fun activities. This event is included with admission.

Storytime Schedule

1 PM: Courtney Smith, Exhibits & Programs Coordinator from Orange County Historical Museum (English)

2 PM: Wei Song & UNC APPLES Service-Learning Volunteers (Mandarin/English)

3 PM: Paulina Lopez, Visitor Services Associate at Kidzu Children’s Museum (Spanish/English)

Visit Kidzu’s Birthday Bash to receive a voucher for $50 off a birthday party booked during the month of March! Parties can be scheduled for any future date. Vouchers will apply an additional $50 off Kidzu’s typical member discount on parties.

Can’t attend or want to bring a gift? Check out Kidzu’s birthday registry to help provide our space with new materials! Everyone who purchases a gift from now until March 31st will be entered to win a FREE Kidzu DIY birthday party ($300 value)! One entry per item purchased. Winner will be drawn on Monday, April 3rd. Please note that you must provide your name during check out in order to be entered to win this prize. Anonymous gifts will not be eligible.
